ZONING HEARINGS

There is a zoning hearing scheduled by request of Ted Stryweski for a variance from Township zoning ordinance that allows only three driveways on a private road.  Mr. Stryweski is seeking a variance to have an additional driveway.

There is another hearing scheduled for a variance from height restrictions for the new church to be located on Orchard Drive (Countryside Community Church).

Both hearings are on Monday, August 16, 2010 starting at 7PM.






GARBAGE COLLECTION

Garbage collection is on Fridays.  Collection is set up and cancelled through the Township, however, billing is done directly by J.P. Mascaro & Sons.

2009 Annual Wage and Net Profits Tax Return

Every Resident of Newton township who had taxable income during any part of the year must file a tax return with Newton township. You can download the form here.

2008 Ford Explorer

Newton Township through the efforts of Police Chief Robert Reese received a grant through Senator Robert Mellow's office for the total cost of a new 2008 Ford Explorer.

The Newton Township Planning Commission will hold a meeting on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 7:30PM.
 
The Newton Township Board of Supervisors will hold a Work Session on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 7:30PM.
 
The Newton Township Board of Supervisors will hold a General Meeting on Monday, September 13, 2010 at 7:30PM.
 
The Newton Township Planning Commission will hold a meeting on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 7:30PM
 
The Newton Township Board of Supervisors will hold a special meeting before the Work Session on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 6:30PM to discuss the proposed 2011 Budget and to discuss the posting of roads for weight limitations - followed by the Work Session at 7:30PM.
 
The Newton Township Board of Supervisors will hold a General Meeting on Monday, October 11, 2010 at 7:30PM.
