Unfinished Business

  • Skatepark - New plans were submitted by the Skatepark Association. The Planning Commission went over each item that Ned Slocum had pointed out in his letter of review dated October 20, 2005. Under Section 402.2 the plans still need a signature and seal – these will be supplied on the final plans. There is still no wetland report and comment O is addressed in the lease. Section 402.3 items C&D will be addressed in the lease and if Ned considers this a roadway, they will need a waiver because they consider this a driveway. It is the Planning Commission’s recommendation that a conditional use hearing be held. All other aspects of Ned’s recommendations have been met. Motion by Raino to accept the plans and forward to the engineer for review, 2nd by Stemphoski. Motion voted, all in favor.
  • SAPA - Lee Jamison appraised the Commission on SAPA stating that they have had six interviews for a planner.
  • Summit Lake Acres Phase IV Subdivision - Stemphoski motioned to recommend that the waiver requested by the owners of the subdivision for a 16% grade not be granted, 2nd by Sartori. Motion voted, all in favor.
  • State Lands - After some investigating and discussion, the Commission has decided that a letter be sent to the owners stating that they need to get a determination from the Department of General Services granting them permission to subdivide the land as it was the Department of General Services that put the restrictions on the deed.
