New Business
- 1984 Truck Bids - No bids were received for the 1984 Ford F800. Martenson requested the truck be put out front with a For Sale sign.
- Eckel’s Minor Subdivision (Falls Road) - Motion by Martenson to approve the subdivision, 2nd by Koldjeski. Motion voted, all in favor.
- Gilpin Subdivision - By recommendation of the Planning Commission, David Gilpin approached the Supervisors requesting a variance from side setback
ordinances. Haan stated that Gilpin has to be able to prove a hardship that has not been created by the owner. The lot-line adjustment that Gilpin is requesting would
still maintain two non-conforming lots. After some discussion, Pardue suggested he have a 12-foot easement put in the deed measuring from the setback line to the property
line giving Gilpin the reserve rights to make repairs to the timber wall that is in place presently.
- Conservation District - Ernie Keller and Ellie Hyde from the Conservation District came to discuss Agricultural Security areas. A minimum of 50 acres
is required to join unless the property would be adjoining another secured area. Anyone requesting information may call Ms. Hyde at work at 281-9495 or home at 563-2503.
- School Street No Parking - David Gilpin and Clair Young of School Street presented the Board with a petition to have the No Parking Signs removed.
Supervisors explained that they will look into the situation and that the signs cannot be put out just for the St. Benedict’s Bazaar, which would be singling out the bazaar.
Supervisors also explained that the Township was approached last year requesting the No Parking due to the heavy parking during the bazaar limiting access to homes in case
of emergencies. At the time the Ordinance was past, it was explained that something like this could happen.
