Meeting call to order

7:02 P.M. -- Ordinance Hearings Called to Order with Pledge of Allegiance.

NOTE: The purpose of this hearing is for Ordinance 2007-1, entitled Deferred Retirement Option Plan (DROP) for the Pension Plan for the Full-time Police Employees of the Township of Newton. Ordinance 2007-2, entitled Deferred Retirement Option Plan (DROP) for the Pension Plan for the Full-time Non-Uniformed Employees of the Township of Newton. These two ordinances are for the purpose of amending the pension plans to allow for a deferred retirement option benefit.

Ordinance 2007-3, entitled An Ordinance Regulating the Construction, Operation and Decommissioning of Wind Energy Facilities.

Ordinance 2007-4, entitled An Ordinance Regulating the Construction, Operation and Decommissioning of Antennae / Communication Devices.

The Ordinances have been duly advertised and available for public review in The Times-Tribune.

Motion by Martenson to accept Ordinance 2007-1 as presented, 2nd by Koldjeski. Motion voted, all in favor.

Motion by Koldjeski to accept Ordinance 2007-2 as presented, 2nd by Martenson. Motion voted, all in favor.

Motion by Koldjeski to accept Ordinance 2007-3 as presented, 2nd by Pardue. Motion voted, all in favor.

Motion by Martenson to accept Ordinance 2007-4 as presented, 2nd by Koldjeski. Motion voted, all in favor.

Being no public input and discussion, Martenson motioned to adjourn the meeting, 2nd by Koldjeski. Motion voted, all in favor.
