New Business
- Gary Stier – Terra Drive – came before the Supervisors to discuss the property next to him at 2007 Terra Drive that has been abandoned. Mr. Stier has concerns
because the property is not being maintained and believes that it is a hazard. Country Wide Real Estate is holding the property and Mr. Arnold is the agent. The
Board of Supervisors will send a letter to the real estate company and ask that the property be maintained or they will recommend condemning of the property.
Supervisors will check with Sileo.
- 2007 Sterling: Specs for a new truck were addressed and reviewed by the Supervisors.
- Fence: The insurance attorney recommends that the fence by the salt shed be cleaned up and the weeds and trees be removed to clear out the area.
Miller to ask DPW if they have time to do the work.
- Rotary Club 4th of July fireworks: Chief Reese expressed concern over the lack of police coverage for the event getting progressively worse every year.
Supervisors request that South Abington Police be notified one month in advance of the event for assistance to Chief Reese. Rotary is to be contacted with this
