Reorganization Meeting of the Newton Township Zoning Board was called to order for its annual reorganization on January 12, 2009 at 7:00PM. It was determined there was a quorum present and confirmed the meeting was duly advertised.

The first order of business was the approval of the minutes of the January 14, 2008 reorganization meeting. Wendolowski motioned to accept the minutes, 2nd by Krafjack. Motion carried.

The next order of business was the Election of Officers for 2009.

Motion by Wendolowski to keep the officers as in 2008; Keith Eckel as Chairman, Pete Restuccia as Vice-Chairman and Paul Wendolowski as Secretary, 2nd by Restuccia. Motion carried.

Miller noted willingness to assist the Board with publishing of notices for meetings. It was noted, a court stenographer would attend for recording of application hearings before the Board as in the past.

The Board scheduled the next reorganization meeting for the second Monday, January 11, 2010, 7:00PM. Township secretary was requested to advertise as required.

Wendolowski motioned to appoint Scot Haan, Code Enforcement Officer the responsibility of posting any properties in anticipation of hearings before the Board, 2nd by Krafjack, motion carried.

Restuccia motioned to reappoint John T. Clary, Jr., Esq. as Solicitor to the Zoning Hearing Board, 2nd by Wendolowski, motion carried.

Being no further business Wendolowski moved to adjourn, 2nd by Restuccia.

Meeting adjourned 7:06PM to executive session.
